Adithan Arunachalam graduated high school with an international baccalaureate (IB) diploma. He attended KC High in Chennai, India, where he took various courses, including Computer Science HL, Mathematics SL, and Economics HL. He also received the Cambridge International Certificate of Education Award with Distinction upon the completion of the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program in grades 9 and 10.
His academic career has also included an appearance at the World Scholars Cup, an international competition involving debates, creative writing, and other scholastic challenges. Adithan and his team advanced from the local round to the global round in Cape Town and ultimately to the finals at Yale University.
Additionally, Adithan co-founded his high school's Debate and Current Affairs Club and oversaw its activities as co-president. Under his leadership, one-quarter of the high school’s student population enrolled in the club. He also competed on the school’s soccer team. He continues to enjoy playing soccer, as well as cricket.
